Mendon Public Library Board of Trustees

An eight (8) member Board of Trustees governs the Mendon Public Library. The trustees are responsible for establishing written policies to govern and guide all aspects of library service. This includes: future planning for the library, financial accountability, setting policies and hiring a director for the Mendon Public Library. The Board of Trustees meets the first Tuesday of each month at 7:15 p.m. in the Library's Meeting Room. Appointments to the Board are made by the Mendon Town Board for a five (5) year term. All meetings are open to the public. The Public is invited to speak during the Public Comment time at the beginning of each meeting. If you wish to be placed on the agenda for a meeting, contact the Library Board President. The Library Board of Trustees meeting dates are posted on the bulletin board in the library.
